The rain tried to put a damper on our fun at the 2nd Annual Montlake Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning but it was no match for our team or the Montlake community! The Wilcynski Partners team was out bright and early serving hot coffee, cocoa, and cider to race participants and donuts to the 60+ race volunteers. Then, we laced up our sneakers and hit the new Arboretum Loop Trail for what was an unseasonably warm, albeit damp, 3.1 mile run. In total, 839 people registered for the race and the Montlake Community Club raised over $22,500 for the University District Food Bank (more than double what was raised last year) and collected 160 lbs of food.
