Help us fight hunger this holiday season

Wilcynski Partners is collecting food and monetary donations in support of Food Lifeline and will match up to $10,000 of funds donated through our efforts!

Every year during the holidays, our team supports a local non-profit by collecting donations, and we are once again teaming up with Food Lifeline now through December 31st to collect non-perishable food as well as monetary donations in support of the organization and the work they are doing to feed local families.

It is estimated that 1 in 5 people in Western Washington continue to experience food insecurity due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in predominantly Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and refugee communities that may double to 40%.

Every $1 donated provides the equivalent of 5 meals and as an added incentive to participate, our team will match up to $10,000 of the funds collected between now and the end of the year, making your cash donation twice as effective!

ABOUT FOOD LIFELINE

Food Lifeline is on a mission to end hunger in Western Washington. We believe that access to food is a human right and that nobody deserves to be hungry. Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to hundreds of thousands of people facing hunger every year by sourcing nutritious food from a variety of food industry partners. We distribute this food through a partnership with 350 food banks, shelters, and meal programs, across Western Washington enabling us to provide the equivalent of more than 197,000 meals every single day. At the same time we are working to end hunger for the future by addressing its root causes, including systemic inequity and social injustice. We do this through advocacy efforts to shape local, state, and federal policy, by partnering with organizations that are addressing other causes of poverty, and through community engagement and mobilization efforts.

Food Lifeline has been working to end hunger in Western Washington for more than 40 years and is the largest hunger-relief organization in Washington State. By using 96% of our revenue to feed people facing hunger, we are efficient, effective, and make the most of every donation. Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to hundreds of thousands of people facing hunger every year by sourcing nutritious food from a variety of food industry partners.

Last year, Food Lifeline has distributed more than 88 million pounds of food to our network of more than 350 local food banks, meal programs, and shelters. Food Lifeline partners with large-scale food producers, retailers, and distributors to ensure that unmarketable but still edible and nutritious food ends up in the hands of people facing hunger rather than going to waste.
